Stitching with Color Collection

The Stitching with Color Collection features one of the most versatile and widely used blocks, the half square triangle block (HST), in a whole new way.  Instead of piecing the fabric triangles together to infuse color in the block, the Stitching with Color Collection creates color for the triangles using thread to “stitch with color”. Also included with the collection are in-the-hoop border blocks, cornerstone blocks, and a stunningly gorgeous flower block.  The blocks all work together and can be used in a wide variety of projects. 

 There are five projects covered in the step-by-step instructions, a quilt, a table or bed runner, a table topper, a pillow and placemats.  Even better, all the projects are completed in the hoop.  Just add batting, backing, or a pillow back, quilt in the ditch, and done.  No need for the added expense to have the project quilted. What’s more important however, is that you can customize the projects by using different blocks, changing the orientation of the blocks, adding borders or cornerstones, and so much more.  The choice is yours.  Another amazing thing about this collection?  The included projects are ‘fabric friendly’ requiring just three fabrics: a contrasting background fabric, a focus print fabric, and an optional border fabric.

The Stitching with Color Collection has embroidery designs in four different design categories. Each project covered in the step-by-step instructions indicates which designs to use and how many of each design to stitch. You can, of course, substitute any of the coordinating blocks to create your own unique project.
