Pocket Potholders are the perfect gift. Not only are they functional for the kitchen, but the pockets can hold small, thoughtfully selected gifts for your recipient.  So fun, so functional, and so cute!

The Pocket Potholders are stitched in the hoop in two separate hoopings: one hooping for the pocket unit, and one hooping for the back/backing unit.  The back/backing embroidery includes a step to attach the pocket, making the potholder super easy to put together.  Just trim, add binding, stuff the pocket with the goodies you’ve selected, and an amazing gift is ready.

 Make the pocket potholders throughout the year for a variety of gifts.  The pocket potholder designs provide a choice of four background quilting motifs with four decorative stitching options and seven pocket embroidery designs for the quilted pocket potholders.

The Pocket Potholders are created in four easy steps.

Step One: Select the pocket background design for the pocket which includes the quilting motif (select from four designs) and the decorative stitch (four designs for each quilting motif);

Step Two: Select the pocket embroidery design (select from seven designs); Embroider the pocket and set aside;

Step Three: Select the background and backing design (which will quilt the background/backing unit and attach the embroidered pocket front to the background/backing unit; Select from the four (4) options for the background quilting motif; Embroider the background/backing unit and attach the pocket;

Step Four: Remove completed pocket potholder from the hoop, trim the combined unit, and attach the binding.
